Can I Have Two Minutes of Your Time?

The idea of giving someone time creates an implication that one has such time to offer, and that is thereby making a conscious decision to donate it to someone else. Can I Have Two Minutes of Your Time is an interactive installation exploring the notion of what it means to gain or to lose time.

The act of spending two minutes in the room as being part of the installation eludes to the responsibility of the artist to “deliver” a worthy enough experience to match the value of time under the agreement. The visitor generates the sounds being triggered by their body movements, making them an active participant and the creator of their own experience in the environment.

The digital clock is changed to go faster or slower than real-time, offering one answer to the question, yet the real answer lies within the personal experience and the feeling acquired through it.
